Kai Peterson is an industrial PhD student at Ericsson AB and Blekinge Institute of Technology, and will defend his thesis titled “Implementing Lean and Agile Software Development in Industry” in September this year. He received a Master of Science in Software Engineering (M.Sc.) from Blekinge Institute of Technology. Thereafter, he worked as a research assistant at University of Duisburg-Essen, focusing on software product line engineering and service oriented architecture. His current research interests are lean and agile software development, empirical software engineering, software process improvement, and software measurement. Kai is also one of the originators of “Things in Queues” at Ericsson.
